Wine Events of the Week–Austin June 6 to June 13, 2018

  • III Forks Prime Steakhouse–Hosts First Wednesday Wine Tasting on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 5 to 7 PM.  Enjoy 6 different wines from the Central Coast of California paired with hors-d’oeuvres.  $25 per person. Reservations are required by calling 512-474-1776.
  • Lenoir–Hosts Food + Wine Pairing with Vintel on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 6 to 7:30 PM.  Chris Kelly of Vintel will guide you through 6 food and wine pairings from classic to daring.  Tickets are $50 per person and available at Eventbrite.  
  • Trace at the W Austin–Hosts Rosé Wednesdays on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 5 to 7 PM.  Enjoy 1/2 priced bottles of Rosé and $7 Frozé with live music. 
  • It’s Italian Cucina–Hosts Free Wine Tasting on Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 5 to 7 PM.   Enjoy a free tasting of Italian wines on the patio.
  • Kitty Cohen’s–Hosts Dandy Bubbles Release Party on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 4 to 8 PM.  Enjoy special prices on glasses and bottles of this 100% Texas made sparkling rosé. 
  • Bob’s Steak and Chophouse— Hosts Opus One Wine Dinner on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 7:30 PM.  Enjoy a five-course meal paired with Champagne to start and followed by a four vintage vertical of Opus One from 2011 to 2014.  $249 per person, RSVP required by calling 512-222-2627 or email n.uhlman@bobs-steakandchop.com.
  • The Austin Wine Merchant–Hosts a free tasting in the shop every Saturday from 12 to 3 PM.  Highly recommended to expand your wine knowledge.
  • Whip In–Hosts 7th Annual Pink Mahal Rosé Festival on Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 1 to 5 PM.  Enjoy your choice of 60 rosés that they will be pouring for the event.  Tickets for 6 pours are available via Eventbrite in the facebook event link for $29.99.  Additional glasses of rosé are available for $5.  A Latin music showcase will be going on and complimentary tapas will be available.  
  • AT&T Hotel and Conference Center–Hosts Yamhill-Carlton AVA Tasting in Austin! on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 6 to 8 PM.  Join 11 wineries from this sub-region of the Willamette Valley for education and tasting of their quality wines.  Pinot Noir and Chardonnay will be heavily represented and bites from the Carillon will be offered for pairing.  Tickets are $25 and available here.
