Wine Events of the Week-Austin Mar. 23 to Apr. 3, 2017

  • It’s Italian Market--hosts a Tour of Tuscany tasting on March 24, 2017 from 6-8 PM.  FREE.
  • House Wine–hosts a Greek Happy Hour on March 24, 2017 from 5:30-7 PM.  Complimentary appetizers and $7 glasses of Greek rosé.  A Greek wine flight tasting follows.
  • Olive & June–hosts a beverage class on Amari.  Explore various Italian bitters with expert instruction and small plates.  Tickets available via link.  March 27, 2017 at 6:30 PM.
  • Gusto–hosts a four course luncheon with winemaker FIlberto Massone Incisa della Rochetta.  The luncheon will be hosted by Dianne Donovan of KMFA radio and there will be a violinist to play for attendees.  This should be an event to remember with fine wines by a renowned Piedmont producer and delicious Italian food.  Tickets available via link for $50.  March 29, 2017 at 11:30.
  • The Wine and Food Foundation of Texas–hosts a happy hour at nightcap on March 30, 2017 from 5-6:30 PM.  Tickets available via link.  Wines courtesy of Austin Wine Merchant will be paired with delectable bites from nightcap.  $30 members, $40 non-members.
  • Italic–hosts winemaker Dan Petroski as he releases his new vintage of Massican wines.  April 3, 2017 4:30-6:30PM.  FREE.
  • Austin Wine Merchant–hosts free tastings every Saturday from 12-3 PM with occasional weekday tastings.  Sign up for their mailing list to receive regular updates.  Highly recommended to expand your wine knowledge.
