  • The Wine and Food Foundation of Texas–Hosts The More You  Know About Malbec on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 for two sessions at 4 to 5:30 PM and 6 to 7:30 PM.  Join wine educator Mark Rashap for a lively discussion about the origins of and the modern expression of the grape while sampling sips of Malbec from around the world.  Tickets are $40 for members and $55 for non-members and can be purchased here. 
  • Baretto–Hosts International Malbec Day on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 4 to 11 PM.  Enjoy $5 glasses of featured Malbec and half priced bottles of Malbec all night.  Argentinian inspired appetizers will be available. 
  • It’s Italian Cucina–Hosts Tour di Nord Tasting on Thursday, April 18, 2019, from 5 to 7 PM.  Join me, Heather Falvo, certified sommelier for a free tasting of Italian wines on the patio.  We will be pouring La Chiara Gavi di Gavi, Tolloy Pinot Noir and Frescobaldi and Frescobaldi Castigliani Cabernet.
  • The Austin Wine Merchant–Hosts a free tasting in the shop every Saturday from 12 to 3 PM.  Highly recommended to expand your wine knowledge.
  • Sloan & Parker–Hosts Meet the Winery: Halter Ranch on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM.  Enjoy a tasting of five Halter Ranch Wines from Paso Robles while sampling from an offering of appetizers.  Bottles will be avialble for purchase at a discount.  Tickets are $65 and available here.  
  • The Fairmont Austin–Hosts Groth Vineyards Meet the Maker Wine Pairing Dinner on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6 to 9 PM.  Enjoy a five course meal prepared by Garrison’s chef, Jason Purcell, paired with Groth Wines of Napa Valley.  Suzanne Groth, president and owner of Groth Vineyard & Winery will lead guests through a tasting of her wines produced in Oakville.  Tickets are $125 and available here.
  • Andiamo Ristorante Italiano–Hosts Monthly Wine Tour Dinner on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 7 PM. A four-course menu will be served with wine pairings from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.  Sommelier PierGiorgio Manna will lead the tasting portion of the evening.  Cost is $75 per person.  Reservations are required.
